Working World is not a microfinance organization, neither is it a major venture capital investment company. Microfinance gives small loans to the poorest of the poor to help them get on their own feet. Major venture capital companies are traditionally involved in multi-million dollar investments. Working World uses a "middle model". Our company helps people in the $10 - $100,000 (USD) range. We assist people (particularly those in third-world countries) who would otherwise not have access to investment capital because their small-business ideas are either too big for micro-finance or too small for venture capital investment. Working World fulfills the need for aspiring entrepreneurs to become EMPLOYERS in order to increase job opportunity and boost economies.
Working World does more than finance entrepreneurs. We literally become partners with the entrepreneurs we fund. We get out a sledge hammer and work side by side the entrepreneurs that we fund. Working World also provides the following:
We combine efforts with the funded entrepreneur, the mentors, and the non-profit organizations to assist the entrepreneur in becoming successful. |
